St. Lucia is a small island with GPS coordinates of 13° 54′ 33.9984” N and 60° 58′ 44.0148” W. St. Lucia is also within two islands, which is along a chain of islands. The northern area being the leeward islands and southern the windward islands. St. Lucia belongs to the Windward islands. St. Lucia is the second largest island in the Lesser Antillies, in the Windward island group.
St. Lucia is located 24 miles (39km) south of Martinique (french island), and about 21 miles ( 34 km) northeast of St. Vincent. On the west coast of St. Lucia, has the Caribbean Sea. The east coast however, is home to the Atlantic Ocean. The chain of islands in which St. Lucia is located is also within North and South America.
